Article on the sinking of Germany’s naval fortress The Bismarck in WWII. Ironically diminutive dated WWI era bi-plane bombers were able to torpedo the Bismarck’s rudder, freezing it in place causing it to run in circles all night unable to escape ultimately to be sunk in the morning. This illustration also appeared in The Society of Illustrator’s Annual Exhibition.
