This was a spot painted for an interesting one page essay in the NY Times Book Review. Jerry Garcia wrote a book titled “Fat Trip”, an expression of his for the sweet ride of life. The Library of Congress assigns ISBN numbers (the code number on the spine of a book that dictates how it’s shelved in libraries and bookstores) based usually on the title of the book. So . . . Jerry’s “Fat Trip” ended up being shelved with diet books, not where folks would be likely to find it and ultimately adversely affecting sales of the book in bookstores.
